Robert
Suarez . Designer . Founder
A designer’s responsibility, as a purveyor of the
future, is to create a more human-centered framework for
innovation. It is essential to my design process to create
products that improve the quality of life of users. Too
often, products are aptly defined as human-made objects.
I intend to transcend this product definition by implementing
a design strategy that addresses users physical, spiritual,
and emotional needs and recognizes the intricate relationships
between people and products. A well designed product can
become a cultural artifact, significantly contributing
to the development of the future social landscape. My
experience in understanding and developing insights about
human behavior in the environment in which people live,
work, play, and learn supports my aspirations to develop
products, services, and environments that are meaningful,
satisfying, and significant.
I've developed Rustic Tooling to investigate the balance
between technology and nature through artifact design,
and artistic development. |
